Unalaska Coast Guard Dock
This project provides priority deep water berthing to USCG vessels patrolling the rough ocean waters of the North Pacific and Bering Sea. The project utilized a mix of construction techniques including Open Cell® sheet pile construction for the heavy loading areas as well as a pipe pile supported sections. Project quantities included over 100,000 cubic yards of shot rock fill, 2,500 tons of sheet pile, large diameter pipe pile, and numerous rock anchors. The project also included full fueling capability as well as shore power, potable water, and sewage disposal.
